One More Tip for Stripes to End Bleed Threw

by Joseph Secor

After you lay your tape, take the white base color and brush it into the tape. This will "fill" any areas that the color paint could bleed threw so you always have perfect lines.

This is similar to the tape caulk system. We use it on round corners of rooms with texture at color changes. Better than tape caulk system that works only for white backgrounds.

Do you love the new lead laws? I think it will help paint contractors to eliminate the College painters.

Has Anyone Tried The New FrogTape?
by: Lee

I hear the new Frog tape does the same job that Joe was sharing with us. The guy at the paint store said it has "silica sand" that produces a "seal" so you don't get bleed threw.

I haven't tried it yet. I will probably use Joe's stripe painting technique first since I still have lots of blue painters tape.
